What kind of wood is used to build your furniture?

All of our furniture is made from alder wood.
Indigeneous to the Northwestern United States
A renewable resource (fast growing) thus environmentally friendly
Beautiful grain, nice color range from white to red to brown.
Classified as a hardwood but soft enough to manipulate a distinctly crisp or aged patina depending on design effect.
